The many ways we bring God's love to the people of Nigeria
For the Pallottines, apostolate is not an activity — it is a way of life. Inspired by St. Vincent Pallotti's vision of the universal apostolate, we engage in diverse works of charity, evangelisation, and human development across Nigeria, always seeking to serve the whole person — body and soul.
Our most visible apostolate is parish ministry. Pallottine priests serve as parish priests and chaplains across Nigeria, celebrating sacraments, forming communities, and building vibrant faith communities. We seek not just to maintain parishes but to transform them into missionary communities.
St. Vincent Pallotti valued education as a powerful means of evangelisation and human development. The Pallottines in Nigeria run schools and educational programmes that form the whole person — academically, morally, and spiritually — equipping young Nigerians for life and service.
Following Christ's example of healing and care for the marginalised, Pallottines in Nigeria are active in healthcare and social welfare. We believe that serving the sick and the poor is serving Christ himself, and we pursue this ministry with professional competence and Christian compassion.
True to our missionary charism, Pallottines in Nigeria engage in outreach to areas where the Gospel has not yet taken deep root. We establish mission stations, plant new communities, and evangelise among peoples of diverse backgrounds, bringing the light of Christ to every corner of Nigeria.
St. Vincent Pallotti was ahead of his time in using available means to spread the Gospel. Today, Pallottines embrace digital and media apostolate to reach people where they are — online, on air, and through print — recognising that the digital space is a new mission field.
The activation of the lay apostolate was at the core of Pallotti's vision. We work to awaken, animate, and form lay people to be apostles in their families, workplaces, and communities — recognising that they are the primary evangelisers of the world.
Your prayers and donations help us continue these works across Nigeria. Every contribution makes a difference.
